Tides Edge is a
Grade B listed building, formerly part of the old salmon
fisheries, now sympathetically restored and fully equipped for self-catering. |
There are
four bedrooms (sleeping up to eight in all) with two separate
bathrooms:
Upstairs: with sea views, one double bedroom and one twin
bedroom
Downstairs: with direct access to the courtyard, a large studio
bedroom with double bed and cot, and an adjoining bunk bedroom. |

The double
reception room, with sea views, has a wood burning stove to supplement the electric background heating , TV and VCR, and stereo sound system. |

The kitchen is fully
equipped, including dishwasher, washing machine and
microwave. There are plenty of
pots and pans, and crockery and cutlery if you plan to eat in, although both the
"Kimberley", the "Crown &
Anchor" and the "Bakehouse" are less than five minutes walk from Tides Edge |

The Village Shop and
Post Office (walking distance) is very well stocked; there
is a large new Tesco in Forres (5 miles) and the Phoenix shop at
the Findhorn Foundation (a mile away) has a wide range of organic
produce.

Tides
Edge has parking for
two cars in the 4 Findhorn Residents car parking area (by the Dinghy Park),
about 50 metres from the cottage.
