About Tides Edge Cottage

Tides Edge is a Grade B listed building, formerly part of the old salmon fisheries, now sympathetically restored and fully equipped for self-catering. The cottage sits directly on the waterfront with views west across Findhorn Bay to the Culbin Forest. Tides Edge is the cottage with two dormer windows (from the upstairs bedrooms). The veranda of the Royal Findhorn Yacht Club (and cafe) is to the right. |

There are four bedrooms (sleeping up to a maximum of eight in all) with two separate bathrooms: |

The double reception room (sitting room - left; dining room - right) with sea views, has a wood burning stove to supplement the electric background heating . There is a TV and DVD, and stereo sound system. |

The kitchen (left) is fully equipped, including dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. There are plenty of pots and pans, and crockery and cutlery if you plan to eat in, although both the "Kimberley" (right), the "Crown & Anchor" and the "Bakehouse" are less than five minutes walk from Tides Edge and the Royal Findhorn Yacht Club (with cafe) is next door to the cottage. |

There is a small garden at the front of the cottage with two picnic table and views across the bay to Culbin and the Moray Firth. |

Car parking for up to two cars is in the 4 Findhorn Residents parking area (by the Dinghy Park); from there it is about 50 metres walk along the sea front to the cottage. |

| Space heating is by electric night storage heaters which provide some background warmth. There is a wood burning stove in the sitting room. | ||
